Desiccant Container Strips (Non-Tearable Pouches)
USAGE: FOR USE IN FULL CONTAINER LOAD TO PREVENT FROM SWEATING.
characterisitics:
- Desiccant Calcium Chloride base product (Reach Compliance & DMF free) in sealed Tyvek packets /strips.
- Moisture adsorption: Inside the Desiccator for 90 days it will adsorb upto 150% & upto 300% moisture.
- Recommend In 20 ft container – 10 kg (25 pcs X 400 gm) and in 40 ft container – 20 kg (50 pcs X 400 gm).
- Cost wise and quantity wise it is 1/3rd of silica gel.
- Expiry date in packed and dry condition : 6 months.

Important: Instances have been reported that after reaching the destination there was about 6” level of water inside the container when no safeguards were taken.
If the empty volume inside the stuffed container is less than 30%, still we would advise to use 10 kg of Desiccant bags. If you compare the cost factor it is very negligible.
- First stuff your export items inside the container.
- We are supplying IDry packet in sealed poly packet. Open our poly packet, take out the IDry packet and put required quantity inside the container before closing.
- In case of container strip of 1 kg, it is packed in sealed poly packet. Open our poly packet, take out the strip and hang the same on the hooks of the container. Inside a 20 ft container on each wall there are 4 hooks i.e., total 8 hooks. Hang 2 strips of 1 kg each on each wall’s hook nearest to the container gate and remaining hooks 1 strip each.
- Please ensure that while packing IDry packets or strips is given minimum exposure to the air otherwise it will start absorbing moisture from the air and its effectiveness will be much reduced.
- Do not close the container ventilators, but please ensure that the your product stuff inside the master packing should be airtight so that minimum moist air goes inside.
